Meet the Doctor

“ The doctor of the future will give no medicine but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, in diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease.”
Thomas A. Edison

“My own introduction to chiropractic started in much the same way as yours is about to begin," explains Dr. Travis.  "For years, I had suffered with back pain, neck pain, headaches and spinal related health problems.  I tried all of the pain pills, muscle relaxers, icy hot lotions and other “wonder drugs” that my medical doctors seemed eager to prescribe.  But instead of getting better, I often felt worse.  I came to the realization that all of these pharmaceuticals were actually making me sicker.  And on the rare occasion when I did feel better, I knew that the drugs were only masking the symptoms.  My body was being tricked by the medications to feel as if something had changed when it really hadn't!  Sound familiar?  My greatest pleasure is helping people like you discover what I learned when, out of desperation, I finally consulted a doctor of chiropractic.  I learned that the human body is not a machine that occasionally falls apart and needs to be tinkered with, using drugs and surgery to keep it going.  It is a self-healing and self-regulating organism that, if allowed to muster 100% of its self-healing power, can and will heal itself.  The state-of-the art chiropractic techniques and nutritional therapy we utilize in our office work to remove obstacles to healing and enable our patients to maintain their good health, once it has been restored.”
